\nO Minist\u00e9rio da Sa\u00fade publicou um alerta \u00e0 popula\u00e7\u00e3o para a necessidade de refor\u00e7ar a vacina contra sarampo, caxumba e rub\u00e9ola. Apesar de n\u00e3o haver casos de sarampo no pa\u00eds desde 2001, nem de rub\u00e9ola desde 2010, essas doen\u00e7as s\u00e3o end\u00eamicas na Europa e, com a grande circula\u00e7\u00e3o de pessoas entre os pa\u00edses, Fran\u00e7a, It\u00e1lia, Alemanha, B\u00e9lgica, B\u00f3snia, Ge\u00f3rgia, Cazaquist\u00e3o, Rom\u00eania, S\u00e9rvia, Dinamarca e Ucr\u00e2nia est\u00e3o sob alerta de risco de surtos dessas doen\u00e7as. No \u00faltimo ano foram cerca de 15 mil casos confirmados na Europa. <\/p>\n

Nas Am\u00e9ricas j\u00e1 foram registrados 167 casos no \u00faltimo ano – 119 nos Estados Unidos, 45 no Canad\u00e1 e 3 na Argentina \u2013 al\u00e9m de outros 84 casos suspeitos em investiga\u00e7\u00e3o na Venezuela. Esse aumento da incid\u00eancia dessas doen\u00e7as deixa o Brasil em estado de alerta para um poss\u00edvel surto.<\/p>\n

Como se proteger?<\/p>\n

A vacina\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 a \u00fanica forma de se proteger contra sarampo, caxumba e rub\u00e9ola. Para ser considerada imune, toda pessoa deve tomar duas doses durante a vida. <\/p>\n

O esquema vacinal do Programa Nacional de Imuniza\u00e7\u00f5es (PNI)<\/a> \u00e9 de uma dose da tr\u00edplice viral aos 12 meses e uma dose da tetra viral aos 15 meses, que tamb\u00e9m cont\u00e9m uma dose contra varicela. <\/p>\n

Para crian\u00e7as mais velhas, adolescentes e adultos n\u00e3o vacinados, a Sociedade Brasileira de Pediatria (SBP) e a Sociedade Brasileira de Imuniza\u00e7\u00f5es (SBIm)<\/a> recomendam as mesmas duas doses, mas com intervalo de dois meses entre elas. <\/p>\n

O SUS oferece todas as vacinas recomendadas pela Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Mundial da Sa\u00fade (OMS) no Calend\u00e1rio Nacional de Vacina\u00e7\u00e3o. Veja a disponibilidade no posto de sa\u00fade mais pr\u00f3ximo. As vacinas tamb\u00e9m podem ser encontradas em cl\u00ednicas particulares.<\/p>\n
